Santa Clara Fire District operates out of two stations, Station 61 at 2600 River Road and Station 62 at 3939 River Road.  For more information on our two stations, as well as the apparatus that are stationed there, click on the buttons.



The Santa Clara Fire District is served by 4 full-time career responders, as well as approximately 30 volunteers. Career staff work from 8-5, Monday through Friday, but also respond to emergencies at other times when needed. 
Randal Wood - Fire Chief

Chief Wood has been with the Santa Clara Fire District since 2007, and was previously the Fire Chief of the Goshen Rural Fire District. Chief Wood oversees all aspects of the Santa Clara Fire District, including emergency response, administration, and training. When he is not serving the residents of the Santa Clara Fire District, Chief Wood enjoys playing country music and hiking.
Christopher Staniak - Battalion Chief, Training Officer

Battalion Chief Staniak served as a volunteer with the Santa Clara Fire District for 21 years before accepting a paid position with the District. Chief Staniak serves as the District's Training Officer, which means he is responsible for instructing and coordinating Fire and EMS training for both volunteers and career staff, as well as keeping records and documentation for training activities.
Ryan Rush - Captain, Recruitment and Retention Officer

Captain Rush served as a volunteer with the Santa Clara Fire District for 13 years before accepting a paid position with the district. In addition to emergency response, Captain Rush is responsible for ensuring that the District's facilities and equipment are maintained. He also serves as the Recruitment and Retention Officer, which means he is the primary contact for individuals looking to become volunteers with SCFD. 
Madison Tibbetts - Intern Firefighter/EMT


Firefighter Tibbetts is an intern, hired on a two-year contract, to respond to emergencies while she is going through the two-year Paramedic program at Lane Community College. Madison was a volunteer with SCFD for two years prior to her hire in October of 2016.
